Venue Hire
The centre is a very versatile space and can be hired for private parties, workshops, classes, exhibitions and other events, large or small. It is accessible for wheelchairs and is fully heated.
We have a main hall, 14m x 8m with a multi purpose wooden floor – a great space for parties, functions, talks or exercise classes.
Our lounge, 7m x 5m, overlooks our attractive gardens and bowling green. Ideal for meetings of up to 30 people. It can be hired out with the main hall or separately.
A fully equipped kitchen with ovens, microwave, fridge-freezer, etc is also available.
Our technical equipment includes:
- good wifi
- a PA system with wireless mics and a Bluetooth connection for your own devices
For parties or social events, we will try our best to stock our award-winning bar with your favourite ale, wine or other drinks. We can also put you in touch with professional caterers to make life easier for you on the night.
Hire Rates
The rates below include full access to the kitchen, the gardens* and use of the small car park next to the centre.
- Main Hall – £15 per hour with a maximum charge of £75 per event
- Lounge – £10 per hour with a maximum charge of £50 per event
- Whole Centre – £20 per hour with a maximum charge of £100 per event
- Note that for parties with a bar an additional charge is made for cleaning (£25) and for a late license (currently £21) and you will be asked to pay a bond of £50 to cover any damage. This will be fully refunded after the event.
