The Unique Sound of Brass – With a Touch of Class.

For well over a quarter of a century, Phoenix Brass has been entertaining audiences throughout the north of England, further afield and overseas with its special brand of brass music. Its members have played with some of the finest brass bands in Lancashire and Yorkshire, so their standards of musicianship are of the highest calibre.
The ten-piece group was formed in 1980 by like-minded brass players who wanted to explore a wider range of music than was available to traditional brass bands. The group’s style has moved with the times, its repertoire expanding to cater for changing tastes. So, we’re in for a scintillating evening of Brass – with a touch of Class!
In true Wadsworth style this would not be complete without cask ale, a Pie and pea supper and this time a curry! All at a modest price and served at the interval.
Old Town Bowling Club has invited Phoenix Brass to perform to raise funds for a much-needed storage unit to replace their dilapidated shed
