Welcome to Wadsworth Community Association (WCA), a charitable organisation established to support the residents of Wadsworth Parish and its immediate neighbourhood and managed by a board of Trustees. We manage the Wadsworth Community Centre which is located in Old Town but serves the wider Wadsworth Parish. You can hire the Centre for special occasions or attend one of our many events – see “What’s On”. The Trustees are committed to advancing education opportunities, providing facilities for local recreation and social welfare, and working to improve the conditions of life for local people.

The Centre is not only a venue hosting regular activities and events, but also a great choice for private parties and social events. We have two function rooms, a bar, kitchen facilities and a bowling green. Hiring the centre is competitively priced and events are ongoing – see “Hire of Venue”.

The Centre is also home to a bowling green which is a popular attraction. There is seating within the grounds, so if you are passing, please do take a moment to enjoy this idyllic spot that is so well tended to by our fabulous gardener.

We are always keen to find out what you would like to see at the Centre, to encourage you to join as a member and we are also looking for volunteers to keep the Centre open and developing to meet the needs and interests of local people.
